From the room to the truck
Point at the piece. We start in the room where it sits.
- We carry it out from inside. The couch in a third floor walk up, the dresser in the attic, the desk in the basement. The crew carries it out from any room and any floor. You do not move anything first.
- We take it apart when it will not fit. Sectionals, bed frames, cribs and desks come apart when they will not clear a door or a stairway.
- You do not need to be home. Leave a door code or a key, or have your landlord, building manager or a neighbor let us in. Pay by Zelle or Venmo from wherever you are.
- Need it gone today? Same day pickup is available, and we are open every day, 7am to 7pm. Ask for it when you text the photo.
- One quote for every piece. Send the couch, the bed frame and the dresser in one message. We quote them together, and the quote is free.
- It goes where it should. Mattresses and box springs go to a mattress recycler, as Massachusetts law requires. Everything else goes to licensed disposal and recycling facilities. We are fully insured.
Too big for the door? We take it apart
Bed frame, crib or desk that came in flat? Sectional too wide for the stairwell? We take it apart.
When a piece will not fit through a door or down a stairway, the crew takes it apart where it stands, carries the pieces out and loads them on the truck. Tell us the floor and whether there is an elevator when you send the photo.

We do not take hazardous materials such as chemicals, solvents, oil based paint, fuel, propane tanks or asbestos. The same goes for car batteries, loose lithium batteries, fluorescent tubes, fire extinguishers, ammunition, fireworks and needles. We do not take safes, grand pianos, central AC or mini split outdoor units, built in or commercial refrigeration, renovation debris, concrete, brick, stone or dirt either. If any of these sit in a drawer or a closet, point them out in your photo and the crew leaves them where they are. Anything else, send a photo and we quote it.
Homes, rentals, estates and offices
- Renters moving out. Already gone? Leave the key with your landlord or a neighbor, and we clear the furniture you left.
- Landlords and property managers. A tenant left a couch and a bed frame behind? Send the door code. We clear the unit without you there.
- Realtors. We clear the house for the listing photos, and your sellers do not need to be there. Leave a key or a door code, and add a deep cleaning from Pera Cleaning Services to the same booking.
- Families clearing an estate. Tell us which pieces the family keeps, and we carry out the others, room by room, along with the appliances, TVs and electronics. Our estate cleanout page covers a whole house.
- Offices and small businesses. Desks, office chairs, filing cabinets, shelving, computers and boxes, out from any floor, any day from 7am to 7pm. We take desks apart when they will not fit.
We work in every Boston neighborhood and 18 nearby towns, including Cambridge and Somerville. The service area page lists them all.
Sleeper sofas, futons and mattresses
Pull the cushions off a sleeper sofa and you find a mattress folded on a metal frame, which makes the whole thing heavy and awkward on stairs. We take sleeper sofas and futons, mattress and all, from any room, and take them apart if they will not fit.
Getting rid of the bed too? We take the mattress, the box spring and the frame in the same pickup. Mattresses and box springs go to a mattress recycler, as Massachusetts law requires. Our mattress removal page covers how we handle mattresses.
Heavy, fragile and damaged pieces
We take these too. Tell us what the piece is when you send the photo.
- Upright pianos and slate pool tables. Send a photo of the piece and the stairs on the way out, and we quote it. We do not take grand or baby grand pianos.
- Glass and mirrors. Glass table tops, mirrored wardrobe doors and large wall mirrors.
- Treadmills and ellipticals. From the basement or the spare room.
- Water damage. A couch, a rug or a mattress soaked in a basement leak. We take wet and damaged pieces too.
- Bed bugs. We take furniture, mattresses and bedding from a home with bed bugs. Mention it when you text the photo.
How furniture removal works
- Text a photo of the furniture to (857) 250-9903, or use the quote form. Tell us your town, the floor and whether there is an elevator.
- We reply with a free quote within 15 minutes, 7am to 7pm. Sent after 7pm? We reply when we open at 7am. Pricing explains what sets the price.
- Pick a day and time. Need it gone today? Ask for same day pickup. Not home? Leave a door code or a key.
- The crew carries it out, takes apart what will not fit, loads it and hauls it away. Pay by cash, credit card, Zelle or Venmo.
Moving out? Move out junk removal covers clearing a whole apartment, and you can add a cleaning from Pera Cleaning Services to the same booking: move out, deep or post construction. Ask for it in the same message and we quote it with the haul.
