An estate cleanout clears a home of what the family is not keeping. You decide what stays. We carry out what goes and haul it away, and you can add a cleaning for the empty rooms.

- We clear the house. The crew carries out what goes from every room and floor, takes apart what will not fit, loads it and hauls it away. You do not move anything first.

Tell us what stays, room by room, any time before the crew comes. We clear the rest. Point to it in a photo or list it in a text: the china cabinet, the boxes of photos, the desk in the study.
Basements, garages and attics
Years of storage end up in these rooms: boxes, old furniture, tools, holiday decorations. The crew carries it up the basement stairs, down from the attic and out of the garage, then loads it and hauls it away. Bed frames, cribs and desks come apart when they will not fit through a door or down a stairway. Couches, dressers and tables from any floor go out the same way. See furniture removal.
Old freezer, dehumidifier or water heater in the basement? The crew carries it up the stairs too. In the garage we take the lawn mower, the snow blower, old tires, scrap metal and latex paint.
Water damaged mattress in the basement? We take that too. Tell us about it in your text.
Paint thinner, propane tanks, car batteries or old ammunition? We do not take those. Point them out in your photos and the crew leaves them where they are.
Working with families, executors and realtors
You might be clearing a parent’s home, settling an estate as executor or getting a house ready to sell. The steps stay the same: photos, a free quote, then you pick the day.
- Out of state. You do not need to be there. Leave a key or a door code, or have a neighbor or the building manager let us in. Pay by Zelle or Venmo.
- Four languages. Our team speaks English, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish, so relatives who speak any of the four can talk to us directly.
- Realtors. We clear the house for the listing photos without your sellers there. Add a deep clean to the same booking.

Add a cleaning once the house is empty
Pera Junk Removal is part of Pera Cleaning Services. The cleanout covers the carrying and the hauling. Want the empty house clean too? Add a deep, move out or post construction cleaning, and we quote it with the haul. We clear the rooms, then the cleaners come in.

What the crew does on cleanout day
The crew comes inside and works room by room. We carry furniture, mattresses, appliances, boxes and bags out from every floor, take apart what will not fit through a door, load it and haul it away. Mattresses go to a mattress recycler, as Massachusetts law requires. Everything else goes to licensed disposal and recycling facilities.

We do not take hazardous materials: chemicals, solvents, oil based paint, fuels, motor oil, pool chemicals, pesticides, propane tanks or asbestos. We also refuse car batteries, loose lithium batteries, fluorescent tubes, fire extinguishers, ammunition, fireworks, needles, renovation debris, concrete, brick, stone, dirt, grand pianos, safes, central AC and mini split outdoor units, and built in or commercial refrigeration. Point them out in your photos and the crew leaves them where they are.
