What sets the cost of junk removal

Three things set the cost of a job: how much there is, what it is and how hard it is to reach. Send a photo with your town and floor, and we reply with a free quote before you book.

How much there is

One chair, a bedroom set, a full basement and an office floor are four different jobs, and each one gets a free quote. Clearing an apartment at the end of a lease, or a family home? One quote covers the whole place, basement to attic: furniture, appliances, TVs, electronics, clothes and boxes. See move out junk removal and estate cleanouts.

What it is

A bag of clothes and an upright piano are different jobs, so show us what you have. We take:

  • Furniture and mattresses. Couches, sectionals, beds, desks, mattresses and box springs, wet or damaged ones included. See furniture removal.
  • Appliances. Fridges, freezers, mini fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, water heaters, window and portable AC units, dehumidifiers and water coolers. See appliance removal.
  • TVs and electronics. Tube and flat screen TVs, monitors, computers, laptops and printers.
  • Big, heavy pieces. Upright pianos, slate pool tables, portable above ground hot tubs, treadmills and gas powered equipment like mowers and snow blowers.
  • Around the house. Carpet and rugs, clothes and bedding, glass table tops, mirrors, aquariums, latex paint, tires, yard waste, scrap metal and bed bug items.
  • General household junk. Boxes, bags and whole rooms.

Something not on the list? Send a photo and we tell you in the quote. See all our junk removal services.

We keep clean, dry mattresses and box springs apart and take them to a mattress recycler, as Massachusetts law requires. See mattress removal in Boston. Everything else goes to licensed disposal and recycling facilities.

We do not take hazardous materials: chemicals, solvents, oil based paint, fuels, motor oil, pool chemicals, pesticides, propane tanks or asbestos. We also refuse car batteries, loose lithium batteries, fluorescent tubes, fire extinguishers, ammunition, fireworks, sharps, renovation debris, concrete, brick, stone, dirt, grand pianos, safes, central AC and mini split outdoor units, and built in or commercial refrigeration. Point them out in your photo and the crew leaves them where they are.

How hard it is to reach

Stairs, basements, attics, upper floors with no elevator, narrow doorways and a long walk from the nearest parking spot all add time. You do not move anything first. We carry it out from any room or floor. Sectional too wide for the stairwell? Bed frame, crib or desk that came in flat? We take it apart. See furniture removal in Boston.

How the free quote works

  1. Send photos or a short list. Text (857) 250-9903, email info@perajunkremoval.com, or use the quote form. Write to us in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Turkish.
  2. Get your quote within 15 minutes, 7am to 7pm. Sent after 7pm? We reply when we open at 7am.
  3. Pick the day. Same day pickup is available. We carry it out, take apart what will not fit, load it and haul it away.

Not home? Send the door code with your photo, leave a key, or have your landlord, building manager or a neighbor let us in. Pay by cash, credit card, Zelle or Venmo.

One quote for everything

Send the basement, the garage and the spare room in one message. We quote it all together. For the fastest, most accurate quote, include:

  • Every room you want cleared. A photo of each one, closets and attic included.
  • The way out. A photo of the stairs and the doorway helps as much as a photo of the couch. Tell us the floor and whether there is an elevator.
  • Your town and your day. Need it gone today? Ask for same day pickup when you text.
  • How we get in. A door code, a key, or the name of whoever will let us in.
  • What stays. Point it out in the photo and the crew leaves it where it is.

Landlords, property managers and realtors: send the door code with the photos, and we clear the unit or the house without you there.

Want it clean too? Add a cleaning from Pera Cleaning Services and we quote it with the haul: move out, deep or post construction cleaning. Ask for a cleaning in the same message.
